Instructions for Membership to Prayag Philatelic Society
(Updated till September 2021)

Dear Sir/Madam,
I wish to thank you for your interest in the membership of Prayag Philatelic
Society.
The society was formed on 21.7.2017 as a registered philatelic society at Allahabad and invited membership from all parts of the country and from all age groups. The society is registered under the Societies Registration Act and is
affiliated to the Philatelic Congress of India.
Membership of the Society
The membership is available as Annual Member and Life Member.
The Admission Fee is Rs.100 (payable once) and Rs.500 as Annual Member.
The annual membership fee is valid till 31st March of the following year and it
has to be paid annually by 30th April of the current year.
Membership Form
The membership form is available upon request through whatsapp at 9415214897 or by email ppsalld@rediffmail.com (Please do not use 9415214897 for remittance through Paytm)
Submission of Membership Form
Kindly fill up the form and send it to the address of the society(mentioned at the bottom) either through ordinary/registered/speed post. The form should be complete in all respect. A photograph is required to be pasted on the form.
Please attach a self attested copy of your UID/Aadhar Card. (Please mention on the photocopy that it is being sent as part of membership form.)
You may also send the scanned copy of the membership form duly filled and complete in all respects to ppsalld@rediffmail.com with the remittance details.
However, physical form is compulsory to send.

Remittance of Annual and Membership Fee
You may transfer Rs.600 as admission and membership fees through the following modes:

Kindly do not deposit cash as SBI Charges rs.59 per non-home branch

Through Paytm QR Code
You may also scan the paytm QR code and remit Rs.600 as fees. The
QR code is enclosed herewith.
Post submission of Membership Form
Upon receipt of membership form and credit to SBI account/paytm for the membership fee, a membership number is allotted. Thereafter, the new member will be included in the whatsapp group of the society. He/she has to introduce himself/herself in the group.
A welcome letter, membership receipt and an ID Card is issued to every member and they are sent through post directly to the member at the address mentioned on the membership form.
Please note: I wish to in form you that we do not indulge in selling of philatelic items by way of purchase and sale from philatelists. We only sell the philatelic releases by the society in the past subject to its availability.
